Made it to disk 2 of my Final Fantasy IX play-through last night.

I forgot how addictive the ability system was in that game. A little early grinding can be quite worth it.

I beat Öoo on Sunday, it was just the right length for that sort of game. Long enough to feel satisfying, but not too long that I got bored with the mechanics.

It will be cool to see the rise of fansubs again. I always preferred them to official subs. I really liked when they gave culture notes or went the extra mile to translate signage.

@CARROT Hey Carrot 👋 I just wanted to say again, I noticed the latest version of the macOS app still seems crash when I launch from cold every time. The second launch will always be successful.

Also mouse scrolling still doesn't work in the map views. It works fine with a track pad.

Every Monday I open my work computer and outlook shows this "cannot connect" dialog that has no way to close it. I reconnect my VPN, but the window wont go away unless I reboot.

I guess that is one way for IT to ensure regular reboots.

The absolute worst thing about electron apps is that most of them update WAY too frequently. And if you are working on a machine with restricted admin access it results in so many annoying "enter your password" prompts.

I was watching MKBHD's review of the AirPods Pro 3, and he was talking about battery life he said that they will "nearly" last an entire trans-Atlantic flight... my dude, take your headphones off when you go to the restroom, put them in the case, and they will easily last the whole flight.
