I think this graph of cost development is interesting. After the Fukushima accident the cost for nuclear rises because of fear, despite the technology evolution and prolong lifespan of some designs of power plants.

If we don't fear, it will go down again.

Because the thing we do does not work that well for everyone.

Germany tries Energiewende, but the transition forced them to reduce the output by cca 25 % (which just offloads the emissions to China/India, where they use coal)

Why do they call it Macintosh "System Expansion",
If there is no hole for the "System Expansion".

Since 1986 and still holds charge, the date was still correct on the Mac.

Now the battery can finally rest in silicon heaven.

@techconnectify.bsky.social made a video on renewable energy.

The biggest problem of renewables for me is, that they are actually dependent on fossil (in Europe especially on Russian gas).

Batteries improve over time, but they are not chips to double capacity every 2 years.

Any guesses what is this card? I don’t have photos from the other side. I haven’t seen anything with this many pins.

And since I do not want to steal you attention, there is the main part you may be interested in, the pinout for the jack.

This is so unbelievably unbelievable.

100 people, that is about 2 to 4 classes of students. 🤯

On the other hand it makes me more nervous because I don’t want to let you down.

Hopefully you will like also the next tutorial. I have already debugged the codes now I need “just” record it.

No přesně to demonstruji. Jen měním podmínky osvětlení a protože ten display je "nekvalitní" (prostě je starý), tak nemá dostatečný jas a okolní světlo ho přebije.

If I use colorpicker, the image is clearly blue.

I like the color scheme of this website.

Universities are living archives of the internet. Do you want software from era before you were born? Sure, download it and compile it.

I got this Macintosh SE 1/20, with corroded motherboard and power supply. But it still works. <3

It as a bit weird to see posters in Germany saying something like “Give your organs” if you don’t know context and if you have limited knowledge of German language.

Reminds me of the meaning of life.

Hopefully, I will make a video on a dithering algorithm soon. I am fascinated by it.

Basically, you can have grayscale images with only only black and white pixels. (1-bit color)

Well, it is obvious, but fascinating non the less.
