I kept thinking about this today- the central division in Dem politics has been reflected in the NYC mayoral election. Mamdani/Lander’s is the part of the party that fights back and represents us while Cuomo’s is the party that seeks appeasement and represents TV green rooms.

It would be really great if large media outlets like @cnn.com, @nytimes.com, @npr.org and all the others actually covered this as a substantial story because a president using this rhetoric towards his own people is FUCKING UNPRECEDENTED.

If you were a casual news consumer and went to @cnn.com to look at headlines, you would have no idea that the Trump administration bears significant responsibility for just about every story reported on here (except the Djibouti and hurricane story).
