It's been a vital source since the 1940s. As a kid in the 60s there was a TV ad for VOA donations & it has a guy playing music to some foreign country and he sets it up in that language and introduces the song "On Broadway". I can see it so clearly 🥹 I wonder if donations, gofundmes would help.
