They / Them / He / Him

The heart of a Romantic Poet (by that, I mean always eccentric and often melancholy).

Unapologetic Weeb Trash, lover of Anime, Video Games, Dungeons and Dragons, Comics and Sci-Fi.

Also streams on Twitch.
I follow them and I've loved their Discworld quotes.

That's been a strong influence that's been pushing me to start picking up the series.

It is a very good theory.

I should follow my own advice and check my local library for some of Sir Terry's works. I've never experienced the Discworld series.

Knowing when to spend money can be just as important as when to save.

For example, I've bought cheap clothing and had it fall apart within a year and look like shit.

Spending a little extra up front can save money in the long run by not needing to buy replacements as soon.

Thought of some other really good money saving tips.

When saving, make sure to budget a little fun money for yourself.

Saving can be stressful and having a little money marked for the little treats takes mental pressure off and gives you guiderails for spending.

The one redeeming thing about this country is the myth that this is where people from all countries and cultures come to become better together.

Though we've not yet realized that ideal, we can choose every day to move toward that ideal.

The worst of us don't have to define the rest of us.

Tough choice.

Personally, I'd have to say being secretive about it is worse.

At least the people being loud and obnoxious seem to believe in genAI.

The ones trying to cover it up or hide it know people fucking hate genAI and they are trying to manipulate their audience.

Really take inventory of your subscription services compared to how often you use them. They may not cost much individually, but costs stack up with each service.

Look to your local library, your own media collection, or the free platforms that are out there rather than paying $50+ a month.

I really appreciate that @pbsnews.org ended the interview with this graphic.

It captures, in the simplest and starkest terms, the brutal arithmetic driving this country's homelessness catastrophe.
