I was one of the first people to donate to Mamdani's campaign and TBH I thought I was donating to keep a dream alive, even though the dream was not going to become a reality

Choose hope. Choose to dream. Choose a just in case we win scenario. Sometimes we do.

Go forward knowing that, fam.

Want to make something from the past great again? Unions!
Corporate America has been waging a war against the trade union movement for a simple reason:

They know that union workers earn higher wages and better benefits than non-union workers.

Imagine this, but for the entire night sky, in a decade-long TIME-LAPSE! So stoked about the Rubin Observatory going online and having already given us a sneak peek of what's to come with its first images!

They are actively arresting peaceful protesters for wearing medical masks at the protests. Now if you are wondering how police are treating nonviolent protesters. Have a feeling this is going to turn into a thread of actions today

You do not have to say “pro vaccine groups.” You can say the vast majority of doctors and scientists and the American Medical Association.

Considering the continued criminalization of masks, rampant spread of covid & other viruses (amidst erosion of vaccine access), dangerous AQI from wildfires, increasing state surveillance, & persistent use of chemical weapons by cops, now is a great time to commit to masking again if you've stopped.

This is absolutely bananas
DEAN: What's the tariff on bananas?

LUTNICK: Generally 10%

DEAN: Walmart has already increased the cost of bananas by 8%

LUTNICK: If you build in America, there is no tariff

DEAN: We cannot build bananas in America

How bad will it be? Catastrophic.

Proposed cuts to #NSF, #NIH, and #NASA will set the US R&D landscape back 25 yrs+, cause economic and job loss now, and undermine innovations to come.

But, this is the WH's *proposed* budget.

Speak up now before it is too late.

We must normalize masks as a public health tool before it’s too late.

If you care about social justice, disability rights, fighting fascism or your health… you should be wearing a mask. Ideally an N95 or better.

The more of us wearing them, the harder they will be to ban.

It's official: it's a minority government!

Canadians are demanding collaboration, not one-party rule.

Let’s seize this moment and push for proportional representation—it's time to build a stronger, more united democracy!

And I present you, the American-style two party system!

How about we, the Canadian people, demand the electoral reform that we deserve, before we ended up like our southern neighbour?
Here's what happened. A lot of Liberal voters went Conservative. A lot of NDP and Bloc voters went Liberal. Everything has shifted significantly to the right.

As a part of a healthy democracy, I think it’s important for us to be constructively critical of all parties.

And on that front, I think it’s deeply uninspiring to frame a party as being the solution to our systemic problems, rather than proposing actionable solutions (e.g., electoral reform)
Last night NDP voters saved Canada from the surging hard right, but had to sacrifice our own party in the process.

Today the battle begins for a system where we don't have to do that any more.

We badly need a party that can save Canada from the oligarchs who brought us all to the brink.
