Brains? Alien fruit? As you enjoy Bay sights this time of year, you may spot lumpy, greenish-yellow balls floating in the tide. These are the fruits of the Osage orange, Maclura pomifera, an invasive plant in our region. Beware of these fruits' sticky and skin-irritating sap!
