The introduced bill also states that the current law allows certain United States citizens to maintain foreign citizenship, which could create conflicts of interest. Senator Moreno’s Exclusive Citizenship Act of 2025 would require them to forfeit their dual citizenship.

On Monday, Senator Moreno (R-Ohio) introduced the Exclusive Citizenship Act of '25 to establish that citizens of the U.S. must have exclusive allegiance to the United States.

The bill states that "to preserve the integrity of national citizenship, allegiance to the United States must be undivided."

Hmmm, maybe we should all start a trend of getting super gussied up for interviews again. I'm taking tails, top hat, gloves, cane, and waistcoat...

Yeah, it's weird, isn't it? I do own some dress shirts but they're, uh, too tight these days. And a suit I got for a wedding but that's just way too formal.

I don't think I own any "pants" anymore (or slacks for those not in the US)! And forget about any outerwear that's not a flannel or a hoodie...

Luckily I've stayed in tech so still appropriate.

I'll check it out. I'm a very slow reader and often get distracted from actually finishing a book, unfortunately. But sometimes I'll just go ham on a series and do nothing but read.

I've always been fascinated by them when I watched old movies and even got to visit one of them in NYC when I was younger. The doc is really fun and examines a cool part of NYC's urban history.

OH. I'm just about done with the second book but the take on the monotheistic nature of the European stand-ins is PHENOMENAL.

I felt a visceral "fuck yes!" reading that.
