Budget calculator said my wife and I will be largely unaffected and we'd probably be considered a high-earning household. Meanwhile I know plenty of people who are far worse off than us getting dinged by it

I've been known to quip that Elon Musk single-handedly cured my imposter syndrome. But it isn't true. I don't think anything realistically *can* because it largely doesn't come from a rational place. No amount of honest self-reflection on my own ability ever stops the doubt creeping in

I'm looking forward to seeing it! I'm very familiar with the musical as it's my wife's favourite and we go see it whenever we can. 2 of my favourite songs in the whole show are in act 2, so I'm pretty optimistic that even if the new songs don't land for me I'll still very much enjoy it

The musical diverges from the books in some very significant ways. I've only seen the first film so far but that one seemed fairly faithful to the musical. Those themes and parallels were more or less always there, the film just tries harder to make sure you recognise them as very serious indeed
