Okay so I don’t post much but I feel the urge to document this for posterity or something: I am doing something very silly which I have been referring to as my Weekend of Star Wars Healing™.

Working with our DH fellowship has broken me in the very specific way that I can now only shitpost in the form of elaborate data visualizations that take hours to put together. Anyway I’m going to bed cdn.knightlab.com/libs/timelin...

Tnrw I do a guest lecture on webcomics for a college lit class about comics. It’s been almost 10 years since my own webcomic shuttered, and I feel kind of unqualified, but putting together the slides & taking a walk through my own history with webcomics has me nostalgic. I think I miss making comics

Does anyone know a great example of a digital humanities #textmining project that uses collocation and word frequency analysis? For teaching purposes, so really needs good visualizations 📈

A couple months ago, when the other app’s complete implosion felt [even more] imminent, I screenshotted my whole following list so I might be able to recreate it elsewhere. Turns out, that actually came in handy lol
