for some context: the project in question here is iisu, which is a concepted frontend with tacked on social features or w/e

i wasn't interested in it to begin with so i'm not outraged, but it gave me the idea to concept my own

this is an annoyance i’ve had since 2017 or so and it’s so baffling that the best solution to this i’ve found is still “use a 3rd party executable called “everything” to find files actually on your computer”

the next step is migrating my FL Studio over to it… this makes it two times in this year that i’ve had to reinstall and reconfigure my DAW. oh well LOL
