YES! Also in the atrocious Kevin Costner Robin Hood remake RH: Prince of Thieves. It was written somewhere that Alan was so put off by the idea of Robin Hood being played by an American that he purposely over-acted and carried on as the Sheriff hoping to get fired. He won the BAFTA for his role. 😂
