The journey continues - just down a different path.

Timeless Treasures is on pause. What came next feels like the game I was always meant to make.

It’s called We Lived Once.

A new kind of historical storytelling. More soon...

🚨 JUSTICE FOR PĄCZKI. 🚨

Should I try smuggling pączki into Wembley VIP myself? 👀 Like, share & drop a 🍩 if you support #FreeThePączki!

Happy Fat Thursday to all Poles (and anyone indulging) 🇵🇱🍩

Eat as many as you can - AI clearly can’t handle them. 😂
Fine. If AI won’t generate pączki, I’ll do it myself.
Here they are in all their glorious, doughy, cream-filled beauty. 😍
No stadium? Who cares. PĄCZKI WILL PREVAIL. 🍩✊
So I turned to Grok. Surely Elon’s AI would understand the importance of pączki?

Nope. ❌

Grok just ignored my request completely and gave me… regular doughnuts again.
Which is worse?! Being banned or ignored?! 🤡
🚨 AI REFUSED TO GENERATE PĄCZKI. 🚨

“Due to content policy restrictions.” 😳

WHAT DOES AI KNOW THAT WE DON’T?
Why are pączki BANNED? Is this the great pączki cover-up?! 🤯
But then… I made a small change.
I asked for Polish doughnuts (pączki). That’s it.
Suddenly, things took a dark turn.
And AI came through! 🎉

Look at this glorious plate of doughnuts in the Wembley VIP lounge. Perfection. ✨

Nothing unusual here. Just me, enjoying some virtual pastries.
So, I asked AI to generate a plate of doughnuts in a VIP lounge at Wembley Stadium (don't ask why...). 🏟️🍩

Simple request, right? No problem at all. AI delivered. ✅
💀🚨 THE MOST DANGEROUS FOOD IN THE WORLD (ACCORDING TO AI). 🚨💀

What if I told you there’s a food so forbidden that AI won’t even generate an image of it?
Stay with me, because this is insane. 🧵👇

You can’t fix the world being broken, so fix yourself first and then go after your dreams…ok, enough philosophy

Good to be back :)
…In the past, rough times would cause me not only to stress about the issue at hand but also its consequences with other areas, work, exercise, game dev…

Not anymore. It’s easy to spiral down. Just focus on one thing at a time.
🧵 It’s been almost two weeks.

Sometimes life hits hard. I learned over the years though not to beat myself down with a club when I am on my knees so to speak….
If this cat can surf through space on bacon, you can handle whatever the weekend throws at you. 🚀🔥🐱

…seen her conference video on Chris’s website is a paid resource but found something on YT. Might be worth checking
Yeah…his last name sound kinda polish…he might be just mean 😝 (I am from Poland😆)…

Well we’ll see. He also in one of his videos mentioned talking to a dev behind the game “Paquerette Down the Bunburrows” which is a puzzle game that appareny hacked their way with promoting puzzle games….
It is great to learn from Chris Zukowski but man he does not like puzzle 🧩 games to be successful ;) Anyone choose this destined-not-to-succeed genre :) ?
Thx anyway..won’t spend too much time on it as it is not crucial but would definitely help if there are some hooks
Yeah the main story is simple: Broken artifact causes disturbances across time(chinese vase appearing in ancient egypt etc). You are a time traveler and have to fix it…easy, but..why it happened, who is behind it and what impact would it have on the whole story…there are some things that I’d expand
Btw I see you’re into text adventures…any sources of knowledge on writing an engaging story for a game that you would advice checking ? My game has a simple storyline but I’d love to “complicate” it a bit…if you know what I mean :)

Inspiration can come from the most unlikely places🙂
Indeed. One minute you’re watching your kids playing with Tesla’s coil and next you’re in your game’s world thinking: That could be a time machine 🚀
…small pieces that you can tackle in 15-30 min. You’ll be surprised at how much you can do in a week just dividing it and completing one at a time whenever you have time.

That way in the first two months I had my studio page, game page, steam page, press kits and social setup up and running.
