Although I didn't purchase the Core XT myself and even the person I bought the used PC from who put it in there purchased the device as a used one already, Corsair offered me to replace it on courtesy. This is awesome support!

Also, I am confused: When using Armoury Crate, I can set the Fan Mode to Quiet, Default, Turbo and Full... and although only the CPU fan is actually connected to its respective header on the mainboard and all other 5 fans are connected to the Commander XT, this settings has also an effect on these 5

I already contacted them. They asked me to reset the Commander using its respective button - which didn't work as well. I told them, since then I didn't hear from them anymore. :)

I had Armoury Crate installed but then uninstalled it again.

I updated the chipset software to Version 7.06.02.123 and did a reboot. Still no sign of the controller. I then did a check on my image using dism and sfc, but none of them found anything wrong. I also did another try on the controllers' reset button: Nothing. Fans still working (at least). No iCUE.

Yes, the XT is directly connected to one of the two available USB 2.0 Headers on the Mainboard and also to a SATA power cable connected to the PSU. The fans are also running and the LEDs are also switched on (to static red). The AMD Chipset Software is version 6.05.16.221

Everytime I beginn playing a game that's more complex and needs a lot of effort in learning how to actually play, I stumble over the fact, that there's times I can't invest into gaming and once I re-enter, I notice that I forget the controls and mechanics and struggle with getting back into the game

One week max per game! Wow. I love that idea. In my case: My spare time is close to non-existent. So I usually work like forever on even the simplest things. ;) I'd like to follow up on your journey and see what you do - as I am also working with MonoGame (and MonoGame.Extended).

This way, it was still fun as hell - like the original - but still with a modern 3D look. So when creating a 3D clone of Worms, I would suggest you find a way not to loose the original, fun and easy 2D-gameplay. Otherwise it will result in some boring 3D Shooter with different rules.

Hudson itself created a 3D Bomberman and it sucked. Because the fun of this genre came from its simple 2D gameplay (player moving only in two directions). WE created #BomberfunTournament in 3D, _but_ we still had it base on its original 2D movement idea (with another level in Z-Direction).

You got me thinking! I once developed a 3D "clone" of Bomberman (and I am currently busy bringing it to steam like 20 years later), but NOW I think about what else I could use the engine for we created back then. ;-) However... if it's of interest for you, here are my 2 cents in regards to your idea

Looks great! What is your goal if I may ask? Do you have a potential game concept in mind you need an isometric engine for? Or do you simply want to learn about how this stuff works? I am looking forward to seeing more of your work! :)
