If you notice a bear with a red tag in his/her right ear it indicates the bear has received medical treatment. It doesn't mean it's a bad bear. But.... Always give em a break and keep a little extra distance.

I was vaccinated for pertuses/whooping cough as a child & caught it as an adult. Start to finish is was 15 weeks. It was the sickest I've ever been. Its clear to me how it could easily kill a baby.
If I hadn't been vaccinated I think I would have died from it.
