Nice. I failed to get a roll done again this year. Weather and time constraints but I’ll enjoy everyone else’s work.

Get yourself outdoors this evening and #relax in the sun with a herd of cows.

This group live on a busy path, popular with walkers, so they're very used to having company.

#BlueskyArtShow #infrared #photography #landscape #scape
A highland cattle calf resting in the sunshine, with more cows in the background. The grass is yellow. The blue sky is filled with whispy white clouds. This is an infrared photo.

Light slips softly away. Dancing over the water, sweeping gentle fingertips across the hilltops; until they too darken and night claims the earth again.

📸 Polaroid I-2 🎞️ Polaroid Colour I-Type

Polaroid image of Loch Lomond taken at Firkin Point. The water is as smooth as glass and stretches towards distant hills. They appear layered against the sky in this low light. Blue, pewter, silver, black and the merest hint of soft purple colour the scene.

Thank you ☺️ It’s a beautiful spot.

Thank you ☺️ One of the many many beautiful spots around Loch Lomond.

It was and very peaceful. I love the way the light changes here. It’s beautiful in Spring and Summer too. But Autumn is magical.
merrimayhem.bsky.social
It’s like magic. And the colours! Silver, pewter, blue, lilac, purple. It’s so beautiful. I’m also in Glasgow, though not permanently. But every time I’m here it’s like coming home 🥰

Firkin Point, Loch Lomond

Gold above, silver below and a blue fit to tie them both.

View of Loch Lomond from Firkin Point. The clouds are cast in gold and the shore in the foreground takes on a silvery/pewter hue. The distant mountains are reflected in the water. The world narrows to this single viewpoint. Scotland is a thief. She steals your heart. She steals your soul.

Firkin Point, Loch Lomond

Autumn is my favourite time of the year. I love when the sun is bright and there is a hint of the winter chill to come in the air. Crisp autumn days in Scotland are something else entirely. You can easily lose your heart to this place.

iPhone 13 Pro
Sunset view of Loch Lomond from Firkin Point. The water is as smooth as glass and reflect the clouds and sky. Distant hills and mountains catch the last of the sun. The light is blue with hints of yellow and gold. The view is framed by the branches of a tree and the pebbly shoreline.

Giant camera. San Francisco, CA. Made with a modified Agfa Isoly camera. #filmphotography
A black and white square image of the giant camera building in San Francisco on the California coast. The image has an overall softness from a transplanted and reversed lens. And yes, the building really is a camera.

Thanks Steve 😊 The festival had so many wonderful artworks. This one was astonishing. It was hard to believe it was actually painted.

Thanks 😁 I wish I was better at creating them tbf. Rarely do they work when I actually attempt them.

Accidental double exposure on Glow400 35mm film with the Sprocket Rocket camera. Taken at Yardworks Festival 2025 in Glasgow. Artwork by Frodrik. Image depicts a Kingfisher sitting on someone’s finger. The finger is duplicated on the lower half of the image. The sprocket holes from the camera are visible on either side, creating a framing device.

Rocky shoreline at low tide with seaweed-covered stones in the foreground, sandy flats stretching into the distance, and green hills and small islands visible across the water under a cloudy sky. A few people are walking in the distance along the shore.

These look fab! The light is gorgeous on those leaves.

Yardworks Festival 2025 in Glasgow. Amazing street art portrait by Jeksone. It was so realistic, it looked more like a photograph than a painting. Image taken on Glow400 35mm film using a Sprocket Rocket camera.

Thank you ☺️ It’s a funny film but I quite like some of the results I get with it.

Bless you Greg. Thank you for the compliment and the re-post xx
