I like playing the old (like Game Boy era) Harvest Moon because it’s so barebones lol. All I do is plant crop, have cat, sell egg, check weather. Can’t even eat hot chip & lie in that game.

You got this! I actually just had to tweak my split a little bit because my grip strength is starting to fail me lol; had to shuffle some lifts around/add "buffer" exercises for some quick recovery.

I think Short ‘n Sweet is the better album, but I gotta toss out Man’s Best Friend as a god-tier title.
(Still, as far as music with delightfully horny vibes goes, she doesn’t come close to Janelle Monáe’s The Age of Pleasure, which is both more interesting musically and way less heteronormative.)

Moving on: My big personal discovery this year was… Sabrina Carpenter lol. I never really listen to the radio, so I was only ambiently aware of her music, but my spouse prompted me to check her out. I gave her breakout albums a spin and ended up really enjoying them! Just great pop music.

(Also a good example of the relative uselessness of Replay/Wrapped/Recap etc. and its focus on “consumption” as the only worthwhile metric. I love the robots, but this doesn’t really tell me anything—some of my favorite artists I didn’t listen to much this year, but they’re still my favorites.)

Listening to Random Access Memories for the first time in literal years & I’m actually kind of blown away by how good it is 😮💨 I always thought criticizing the album for “not sounding like Daft Punk” was weird, but I definitely didn’t appreciate it as much when it first came out.
