Wholesale food costs there must be a lot cheaper as eating out is way cheaper than here.
I only got back a few days ago and was there for three months . Can't believe how crap the weather is and the non stop negativity wears you down here.

I buy fresh fruit and veg in the market on the weekend and providing it's in season the quality and cost are very good.
A lot of fruit and veg in supermarkets is a lot higher than here and meat is bonkers expensive. Chocolate is about double the price here. Alcohol is the only thing cheaper

It's not just here I spend half the year in Spain and in the last five years food prices have risen 40%.

Whenever there is scope for tax cuts it should always be done by raising the tax free amount that way everyone benefits equally
