2) destruction of mankind. It should be controlled by the govt as nuclear has been for 80 years. And for those who doubt govt's ability to compete with our adversaries, its record with nuclear is stellar. No nation surpasses our technology.

I care that Johnson is a lying, unchristian hypocrite whose “leadership” will cause untold suffering and death.
I don’t care if he imitates Black dialect or Jewish dialect or any dialect. Dems have wasted too much time being unable to distinguish between minor grievance and existential threat.

I think the operant word is “current.” Capitalism in 1960 was in the middle of creating the world’s largest middle class while accepting antitrust regulation and 80% top marginal tax rates. This is a values problem: neoliberal capitalism is blind to the public good, and that’s what will kill us.

3) this fight. The first centrist who makes a full-throated commitment to stop this 45-year transfer of wealth from the middle class to the .01% will be lifted up by an unstoppable wave of American voters from both parties, as well as millions who've given up on voting at all.

2) that happen - and those forces are not "capitalism," they are neoliberalism, the unbridled greed and narcissism of people who face no consequences for a complete lack of concern for the public good - then we don't deserve to survive.
So far only the socialists are leading--
