It will take time to mend our fractured world. Wake up every day and say yes to what presents itself. Everyone has a talent or gift to offer to raise the frequency of their community.
Positive thoughts, words and actions are needed in whatever form you can share.

The first step was a good thought,

Red Wolf - (Watercolor)
Did you know the Red Wolf is a great fisherman?
Even though their main source of food consists of rabbits, rodents, raccoons, and white-tailed deer, they are very adept at targeting fish in shallow water and isolated in tidal pools.

Historically the red wolf ranged from southeastern Texas to central Pennsylvania. Today the only place red wolves can be found in the wild is in eastern North Carolina's Albemarle Peninsula. Their hunt includes fish (yes!) raccoons, rabbits, rodents, along with white-tailed deer.

Every year the snow geese pass through this part of PA and stop for a little snack in the fields. I missed their big squawking take-off by one day but got to capture the pink blush of the setting sun on the lake. (mirrored in photoshop)

Bison run faster than horses. Despite their massive size, bison are pretty athletic. They can run at speeds approaching 35 miles per hour and can jump over 6 feet.
American Bison is the official mammal of the United States and has recovered from near extinction thanks to conservation efforts.

Caribou have a keen sense of smell that helps them find vegetation and detect changes in their environment. When a caribou detects a potential danger it releases specific pheromones signaling to the rest of the herd that there is a potential threat nearby. (Watercolor Caribou + photo background)

Beavers are the unsung heroes of wildfire prevention

In a study from earlier this year, researchers found that areas around beaver habitat “had significantly reduced burn severity compared to riverscapes without beaver dams or to areas outside the river corridor.”
