Great point. Any decent promoter knows your work is rarely done after the 1st response. Narrowing and pushing back are key. This moves even novice users to better results. #AISky #EduSky
I don't see anyone talking about ChatGPT 5's biggest change: responses consistently ending with a "if you want..." style line that nudges users towards the next prompt.
This has always been an issue: people don't know what to do with LLM outputs. GPT 5 handles this better than any model I've seen

“Writing is thinking” is true; I learn so much when I admit I need to rip up most of a draft.
But in spite of building revision stages into assignments, I think I’ve rarely led students to grasp this for themselves in a writing course. It takes a long project they care about, like a thesis. 1/2
