I just listened to a fascinating Factually episode about Spotify where @adamconover.net taks to @lizpelly.bsky.social. They said that Spotify (and others) used to have recommendations (of new stuff) and now they have just "for you" (more of the same).
And I blame Netflix on that! (nerdy thread)

This benefits nobody. Legalising it, however would stop migrants being exploited, enable businesses to function, reduce crime and cut waiting times for food deliveries
