I don't know what the right answer is for this fight, but both are important and valid, and I think we, on the left, need to realize what we are asking of a LOT of people on assistance to sacrifice while we stick to our guns. It feels our messaging is not in line with asking that of those folks.

The question I have is how do we help distribute the wins of a company more equitably? Lots of companies, from my perspective, are profitable in spite of their leaders, not because of them. They are kept valuable by the individual contributors and middle management, who get fractions of value.

The press generally doesn't find this sort of thing interesting enough to cover, and the outlets that CAN be bothered approach it with typical "he said, she said" framing so the reader never really understands this was being driven by AT&T and friends
