Shame they sold poorly after all the effort they put in to the brochure pictures.

Would you be interested in a collection of BL brochures, predominately 1970s? Large box full. Collect from Yorkshire. Let me know if so.
Illustrated a small selection.

Appreciate this is not sales, but the chart still looks surprisingly healthy for 2025 - I cannot image anyone wanting a new Tesla (association with a mad fascist/ underdeveloped product/ so much EV choice now).

💯 with you on Wham! Singles off their first album were really good (I bought two of them at the time), but what the hell was this jitterbug gibberish!? Still the weakest song in their back catalogue. Mind you, I also think the best thing about Last Christmas was when they flipped it over.

At the time I thought these were nasty little cars, but now I’ve grown to really like them. My uncle almost bought one, but went for something else (Renault 12? Datsun Sunny? Chrysler Sunbeam? He went through a lot of cars around that time I cannot remember in what order…)

Swithin the Saab.

Pavement parked 👌🏼 I’m gonna predict that I wouldn’t get on well with the driver.
Nice cameo from the VW LT on the other shot though.

I have also questioned the point of Vauxhall (or rather predicted it’s end, particularly when PSA bought it), but against all the odds, they do seem to sell in the UK, and that’s ultimately the point of any product isn’t it? I’m not convinced that it’s 120 year car making history matters to anyone.

This looks fabulous. I hope they sell well. Journalists always talk of the great success of the 5, but to be honest I rarely see them on the road (far more likely to see an Inster), which surprises and disappoints me.

Yeah, I’m not convinced that is correct. I thought it much older.

Mine too. I remember I had heard about this Inspiral Carpets band and assumed they would be a bit too avant-garde for my taste. Turns out they were danceable indie pop; right up my strasse 😃
