I think she's proven many times over that unethical reporting and trashy revenge-porn, do indeed meet the standards of 'legitimate' outlets (like, for instance, Vanity Fair). That is actually the description of her entire career.

So we're right back to pre-ACA days. Just got notified that my insurance will cover the facility (Mayo) for an upcoming visit, but not the Mayo doctor who will be seeing me at Mayo. How does this make any sense? I can walk around the facility, but not see a doc? Thanks

On the contrary. Their goal was to muck it up so badly that Americans can't actually afford or access healthcare. They've already accomplished that.

'Gibberish jamboree' is masteful!

Wow. This is going to have a chilling effect on immigration from Narnia and Hogwarts.

To be fair, it's not clear he actually understands what the word 'cognitive' means.

"They said to me, with tears in their eyes, sir, sir, you have the best, most beautiful cognitive we have seen. In fact, it is far bigger than Biden's cognitive."

The GOP officially adopts sociopathy as the party platform.

"Except the ones Trump pardons and puts out on American streets."

Here are recent 'views' the NYT has felt compelled to challenge:
1. Misogyny in the workplace--is it really that bad?
2. Should we mourn the loss of 'clubby NY' during the Epstein years? Yes, yes, we should.
3. Does Trump lie, or just see things differently? What does Laura Loomer think?
December 2, 2025 at 4:30 PM
I think this explains a lot about the disastrous performance of the NYTs over the past decade. If you no longer see your role as truthfully informing the public (you know, 'news'), but as serving as a dysfunctional devil's advocate, your quality is going to suffer.

My kids went to a Mpls HS where white kids were the minority. There were a lot of Somali kids there. They came into the country with no English, worked their way up to scholarships, and the valedictorian of my son's class was a young Somalian girl. Don't lie to me about Somali's. I know better.

Does the GOP understand that sociopathy is not actually a political position, but a serious mental health disorder? If your platform revolves around supporting/endorsing/justifying sociopathy, you are not a political party. You are a dangerously unwell criminal organization.

Prediction: The 'enormous amount of fraud' in MN will end up being a tiny fraction of what these bozos are claiming.
December 2, 2025 at 4:10 PM
It would super duper if the WH press core would do the same, instead of letting Leavitt blather on about how Trump's extrajudicial killings protect Americans at risk from narcoterrorism, while he releases a bona fide narcoterrorist to roam American streets.

I think we should all provide helpful lists for her. Here's mine:

Killers=Pete Hegseth, Stephen Miller, RFK jr, etc.
Leeches=Kristi Noem, Kash Patel, entire Trump family,
Entitlement junkies=Every tech broligarch, billionaire, and gross
crony currently benefiting from this administration.

Would love it if even one journalist would ask these sycophants why Trump just pardoned a convicted narco trafficker if narcoterrorism is such a major threat to Americans. He literally just unleashed one onto America's streets.

I agree with her. Here's my list:

Killers=Pete Hegseth, Stephen Miller, RFK jr, etc.
Leeches=Kristi Noem, Kash Patel, entire Trump family,
Entitlement junkies=Every tech broligarch, billionaire, and gross crony currently benefiting from this administration.

He was confirmed 10 days after this, making every senator who confirmed him, knowing his position on 'burdensome' laws and rules, complicit in war crimes.

'Absolutely nothing', in British slang. So much easier to type!

In fact, this response is even more tepid than in Trump 1. At least back then, we had administration insiders sending letters to news orgs to reassure the public that sane people were actually in charge. Now we just have anonymous GOP reps wanting credit for good intentions while doing nothing.
December 1, 2025 at 5:11 PM
Reminiscent of Trump 1. Reality check: Only one GOP rep has publicly broken ranks and resigned. One. (The other is retiring). All the rest are from the Susan Collins School of Faux Concern, making anonymous complaints to friendly news outlets while doing zilch to protect the country from a madman.

It's like they are unaware that the inability to empathize with others is the hallmark of serious mental disease. People with no empathy are literally brain-damaged, missing components of personality that the rest of us have. They should not have any control over the lives of others.

I'll take suicidal empathy over his malignant sociopathy any day.
