I live in a state, that I love dearly, that has no sales tax.
The property taxes are killing us.
I don't want to stop funding schools & cops and a sales tax right now while prices are so high is a bad idea. I also don't want to see people lose their homes over taxes. This sucks.

For those who sneer when saying 'environmental laws' it is good to keep in mind that it is those laws that keep you and your children from drinking poison and breathing black air with chunks in it.

He has shown that negotiating with him is just a stall technique as he continues to bomb civilians.
The EU is going to have to put more skin in the game to help Ukraine achieve a decisive victory.

A lot of this can be traced back to Reagan closing mental institutions and dumping the patients onto the streets.
My 'christian' fundamentalist BIL would be fine if the homeless were just executed. Personally, I think we can do better than that.
