Honestly not too bad post-board. The pre board games can be a little rough though. I'm way more afraid of the card ouroboroid than anything else out of the badgermole decks.

I've been messing with a similar list on arena ladder, my biggest issue with it has been the manabase, you went a different direction than me with a bunch of the WB/UW verges where I'm playing starting towns and the fastlands. How does this manabase feel?

Basically they don't really want dryad, it's just not a great card. Since they don't want dryad they don't get to do valacut but it's fine because they can just make infinite copies of any creature with haste and otawara/boseiju your stuff with the analyst loop.

I had the exact same experience when I tried out mono R phoenix post looting unban. I did two leagues with it and had more people salting off in the direct chat than I've had in the entire rest of my time playing mtgo. What is it about red prowess cards that sets off the freaks?

While I personally wouldn't abuse a bug like this because I want mtgo to be as analogous to paper magic as possible, I understand people with the attitude of "everyone else COULD be abusing this bug, why shouldn't I?" As much as it sucks, mtgo has never been a perfect reflection of paper magic.

It's shitty but I kinda get it.If you're new to the client or don't have a lot of resources a league entry is ~$10 and if there's even a small chance that someone else later in your league could use that same bug to beat you then you should logically abuse the bug to beat your opponent. it sucks tho

I also think adding objective metrics isn't going to do anything to limit pubstomping and will probably make it worse. Most people's homebrew decks that fit the spirit of a 3 are gonna fold completely if someone pulls out a deck made to win that technically fits within the category 3. Also FoW why?

Flamethrower has been really strong this patch. Last patch it was a little slow with everyone going infinite starting on like day 6.

We do get excited about in universe sets, just not stylistically incoherent beach episodes that care more about referencing other IPs than being magic. Thunder junction, murders, and to a much lesser extent duskmourn all had this problem.
