Why the fuck aren’t these criminals already in federal prison?
Altogether, at the meeting in Miami, Ukrainian delegation stated repeatedly that they cannot give up any territory as this is forbidden by the constitution of Ukraine, while the US delegation pressured them to discuss giving up “for sure” Donbass.

There was no progress on that point.

Invoking "color revolutions" as a boogeyman like this really goes to show how much these guys have cooked their brains on Russian propaganda specifically.
Sen. Eric Schmitt: "This is the language of a color revolution where you're calling on military men and women to disobey orders."

yes, please God, yes.
many of the states with universities that have entered into "agreements" with the regime have robust civil rights laws, including protection against discrimination on the basis of gender identity/expression. the Illinois Attorney General could make an example out of Northwestern. he really should.

It really is precisely the inverse of how much work you actually are doing
The numbers in here are hilarious.

Do you use AI on the job?
Execs: 87%
Managers: 57%
Workers: 27%

Planned investment by 2030: $5T
"Necessary" annual revenue to justify that spend: $650B
Current annual revenue: $50B
Three years into the generative-AI wave, demand for the technology seems surprisingly flimsy

So very much this. Heck, even in Canada, American style college athletics is unheard of. You're supposed to attend university, at the most basic level, to learn how to think.

I love college football, but it really has gotten completely out of control.
I dunno man it just really seems like American universities have lost the plot over the past 30 years or so and while I too love college football and basketball, the people making key decisions at them don't seem to care about their educational mission at all

They demonstrated pretty conclusively that they understand how to cover pardons as if they are huge scandals when they ran multiple days of banner headlines and scolding op-eds and follow ups when Biden pardoned Hunter exactly one year ago.

They just choose not to for trump because they like him
It’s wild how the press is ok with the president abusing the pardon power. That used to be one of the most scrutinized things about a presidency.

I get that Lane Kiffin isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's pretty shitty of Ole Miss to not allow him to coach his team and his players through their CFP run this season.

Coaches leave jobs all the time for 'better' jobs, this is nothing new. Punishing the team out of spite is shit.

The viruses and bacteria will not do the education.

I don't think people realize that the US is one of the only nations on earth to go through the Covid-19 pandemic and then respond by... making masks illegal in some places, and reducing vaccine accessibility.🤡

That's the opposite of education.

Any sign that actual consequences still exist will REALLY freak out a not-insignificant percentage of the current DC elite
And to anyone who’d claim someone worse will replace him: even if that happens, Hegseth would still be outed. Which would inspire more pushback against Trump’s incumbents and lead to more calls for ousting them

I second this. Trump will not finish this term. He will be removed from office. But JFC we need to get Schumer and Jeffries and the rest of Dem leadership out of the way or they _will_ fuck it up like only they can.
JP Morgan’s CEO going “we’re not funding the ballroom, the next DOJ will hit us with the book over it” is a pretty big sign that the winds are shifting as far as Trump having a glorious 1000 year reich. I doubt he’ll even make the full four years, and his entourage have their future to pay for it
