Yeah, we also had a banjo but it was more of an Irish style tenor banjo just as a melody instrument rather than a five string. We had a few albums out over the years such as this one smokeybastard.bandcamp.com/album/tales-...

Oh shit that's fucking cool, I used to be in a Folk Punk band too called Smokey Bastard. Listened to Wirebound and there's some really good banjo rolls there, great stuff. Gives it a bluegrassy/americana edge that I don't think many UK folk punk bands embraced
