Yeah my first thought was Dunne just because I think they'd be more worried about losing Kozak but then I remembered Ostlund was up and doesn't need waivers. And you know this GM loves the easy move

With Norris coming back do they need to make a roster move or are they good?

I haven't seen more than 4 games of Norris but as far as I can tell Tage is their best center. Playing him at wing doesn't make a lot of sense

It's because they made the (probably dumb) decision to pay him and that Adams is incredibly indecisive. He doesn't know what he wants to do to build this team and gets all crossed up over the smallest choices let alone the big ones

Yeah I'm not saying Ellis is a clear number 1. I'm just saying he's as good as the other two with a ? about his upside so ride him and see what you got and move on from one of the other guys. Time to start taking some chances

Tage is a great top 6 guy. Tuch is very good. Maybe Norris can be one too of he's ever not fully dead. They need some talented smart veterans who haven't played in a losing environment for their entire careers

This is no offense to Ostlund or Kulich or even Rosen because I think they can all be very good NHLers but I'm just so tired of the Sabres counting on kids with almost no NHL experience to push this team forward

I think Paul Hamilton actually had the right take. Just put UPL and Lyon up for trade and take the best offer. It makes more sense to move UPL and his money but that also makes him harder to deal. So just take the best offer and run with Ellis as much as you can

So many issues with this team but I still say the biggest one is talent/ Skill in the top 6. And maybe a healthy Norris helps that but they desperately need another guy. It feels like they have a lot of 2nd/ 3rd line tweeners and a glut of 4th liners playing too high in the lineup night to night

They've watched their GM fail for 6 seasons and keep his job so no need for them to do any more than just ok

It's annoying because injuries will be used as an excuse for not firing someone but honestly how many more wins do they gain from Norris and Kesselring? Not enough to be in a playoff spot in a very weak Atlantic is my guess. Time to start making some real changes

I'm actually weirdly excited about the Sabres finishing last. The Leafs better not ruin that for me
