Farage.
Grifter-in-chief. Racist. Russian asset. Trump groupie.
He gets an MP’s salary and spends his time doing anything but.
A professional piss-taker and national security (and sanity) threat, leading the polls to be the next PM.
Come on UK.
Get some sodding self-respect.

Just in case you forget how bad she was.
It’s my birthday!
Bunty has given me breakfast in bed allowing me to smear jam on her croissants.
Later on Jill in the village shop is giving me a taste of her Lemon drizzle.
Then Bunty & I will settle down & watch our DVD of Liz Truss’s greatest moments! 🥳

The BBC's has responded in The Guardian that this was a routine editorial decision, but also that it was made on legal advice. Those two explanations don’t fit together. /1
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

The BBC is made up of many shades of political people, just like the UK. At its best it's impartial and pioneering but at its worse it can be subservient and influenced. Some in the BBC keep their politics carefully guarded but others use it to weaponise the BBC, to progress their ideology.
