Veterans Day. 20 years later. 2005 I’d spend 179 days at war.
In total I’d spend over 500 days at war in Iraq. I was still 18 on my first trip to Iraq.
My friends died at war, they died from suicide and burn pit exposure cancers. I live with PTSD and talk about it as much as I can. #VeteransDay

At least I can hang my head high for this.
When I was given my shot I tried to expand understanding towards PTSD and to get more people to seek therapy and speak about their traumas.
I didn’t do it for a game or signed things. I did because I have PTSD and spent 500 days at war. #Veterans

We are the wealthiest country on the planet. There is no reason why anyone should go hungry while billion dollar corporations get permanent tax cuts.
While veterans are refused care at VA hospitals because their staffing has been cut by 30k.
Donate to food banks and food drives if you are able.

It’s unconscionable that congress and the President do nothing and continue to be paid, while the government workers who keep us safe and people who need food assistance are literally cut off completely.

But I spent 2 months contacting the VA (federal and local) finally when the Bucks called me in October. I was told to contact the Veterans Chamber of Commerce.
Only to be told on Nov 4th the event wasn’t happening. #FearTheDeer
