Roasted Chicken Leg Quarter, with Peas and a Baked Potato. Chicken was seasoned with basil, oregano, thyme, cayenne, salt, & pepper. Peas and potato were (over)-dressed (that's the pool of oil ...) with an Italian vinaigrette.

A few years ago a Linden tree on the boulevard was blown over in a storm and absolutely crushed this tree hydrangea. I cut off the especially sad parts, then let it do its own thing. One of my better life choices, methinks.

Stove Art: Turkey Chili Stuffed Acorn Squash (www.skinnytaste.com/turkey-chili...)

I sometimes sub 1/4 cup of chunky jarred salsa for the Rotel and tomato sauce. Softening the squash in the microwave for 3 minutes on high makes it easier to cut.
