11. I don't think I have any wips or sketches I've *never* shown, but here's my current list of wips/future artworks I want to do, if you can read my handwriting. Somehow I always add more than I cross off 😅

I got a jelly gouache set for the holidays, and finally made the effort of opening up all those little cups of paint (while getting it everywhere) to have a bit of a play with it. These mini studies were a lot of fun!

I think my favorite thing to do is just... simple studies. Working directly from a reference is so calming it's almost meditative, and I can practice techniques or just play around with it.

The only thing I was really thinking about while painting this was "make it cozy." I think I succeeded! Fun fact: Quin Gold, Burnt Sienna, and Indigo is the coziest of palettes.

This old portrait of Nyx for sure! I had spent a lot of time in '21 making an active effort to really *learn* about drawing, and using colored pencils. I watched so many art videos and tutorials. This was the culmination of those efforts.

This was for a FFXV reverse bang, where a writer created a fic based off of my illustration. I really wanted Ignis to have a nice day off! I don't draw many backgrounds, so drawing something with a strong sense of perspective like this needed a lot of practice to get right 😆

This is from a Nyx Lives AU where the ring took his memories instead of his life (aka death of his old "self") and he winds up in Lestallum to recover from his injuries. But with the Empire solidifying their control over the region, he winds up being a hero once more.
