And finally, we have Henry. Henry is a shy, genius oddball. Intensely private, it's difficult to know whether he is a good guy or a bad guy. Excessively wealthy, educated and deeply alone, with a strange face. Barry Keoghan was wasted in Saltburn (lol), I think he would make a much better Henry

Julian has such a small role but such an outsize influence on the plot and other characters that I think he needs to be played by someone with massive amounts of charisma. I would cast either Gillian Anderson, Tom Hiddleston or Andrea Riseborough. They are all cool, calm, aloof and powerful

Bunny Corcoran is our unlikable victim/ villain. Charlie Tahan was terrifying in Super Dark Times (next to Owen Campbell) for his unstable and simmering performance. He also has a kind of false bravado fitting of the character.

Francis is the quiet, queer neglected child. I wanted someone off-kilter for him, and I think Kodi Smit-McPhee has a wonderfully lost air. Imagine him with auburn hair!

Charles is troubled, cruel and controlling, and Freddie Fox has just that kind of entitled rich kid look. I won't lie though, I mostly wanted someone who looked similar to Hunter. Charles is more of a side character, after all

Then we have the twins, Charles and Camilla. Icy blonde, enigmatic, a bit too 'close'. I think Hunter Schafer is perfect for Camilla, she is a fantastic combination of vulnerable, delicate and strong.

First up we have Richard, our entry into the rarified world of Hampden College. Richard is a sort of everyman, out of his depth and innocent of the excesses of the rich kids around him. I really like Owen Campbell for this, he has such an unassuming, honest look
