One of the best bits of opsec you can do is to nuke your Reddit account every year or so and start over. People unwittingly create such a profile for themselves on there, posting in local subreddits or discussing their interests that can be cross referenced with other info on Twitter/Bluesky

This is actually a big pain point we have; some more mature CNAPPs will even give you the option to skip distro-maintained packages with vuln scanning for this reason

Often I think back about the era that was before iPhones but after broadband and wireless routers as a sort of temporary golden age of computing. You could have multiple devices online at home but were still forced to "logoff" and go about your business in the real world
