Like, from an aesthetic and beauty perspective, I feel 玉藻の前 (Tamamo-no-mae) is probably the hottest yokai, but I just feel like, if we're going for sexy monsters, we really can get much weirder than this. I don't think we need to limit ourselves.

OKAY WAIT I'm studying Huntrix's designs for redrawing purposes and I just noticed, while Rumi is always covering her marks, everyone else shows skin.
UNTIL THE END! Once Rumi shows her marks, everyone else is covered to emphasize the contrast between beginning and end!!

It was only upon drawing Zoey in my style that I realized how similar she feels to my OC, Mars.
This was both helpful in a character design way because it confirmed that I nailed the "bubbly, over the top, and high fashion" energy for Mars, but also made me feel a little called out 😅

I've talked about Ko-fi's shitty "NSFW" content guidelines before, but I really want to drive home that Ko-fi--known prude--actually allows for MORE wiggle room than the new Itch guidelines by specifying the difference between "glorifying" themes & just "containing" themes

This is the explanation I heard today, and like, is this a generally held consensus of how to weed out what is or isn't Romance?
Because I've never heard this take off of Bsky & by this parameter, more SFF books count as romance and more romcom series should be excluded?

I wasn't really sure what to do with the "more villain or Evil OCs than good" box since most of my OCs are not really good or evil, they're just people.
The boxes I didn't check are mostly online fandom/community spaces because I never shared my OCs until I got published 😅
