I'm a huge multishipper, so despite my fondness for Naru/Umino (...and NephNaru, and other scenarios), I'm onboard XD

There's this awesome Naru fancomic, Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Earth (Mamoru still represents Earth BTW, that's addressed!), where an OC fan of Ami's has a crush on Umino. It's fun!

Hey now, at least they're consistent about never translating Senshi as Soldier, even though it would be awesome and straightforward and alliterative and the English word Soldier is in Japanese lyrics 🫠

(seriously though I long for a world where it's marketed as "Beautiful Soldier Sailor Moon"...)

Yeah, I suspect from episodes 1-5 that if anyone gets written out, it will be handled with a lot of gravitas and care and character examination, not just like, dead slasher movie victims.

Aww, he's a good dad! Those two have been in the circus the longest, probably (judging by the ages).

I wonder, can the digital onions can even cause crying (Caine MIGHT put that in?), or... maybe Ragatha's just making an excuse and actually was crying? ❤️‍🩹 Either way Kinger's got her back.

I it's not weird for me to chime in, but:

I'm a transgender woman and agnostic-atheist (and I'm in my mid 30s), and I really appreciate and respect kind Christians who are LGBTQ-friendly, like you. What makes a person "good" IMO is that they don't want to hurt anybody, that they accept people. 💖🌈

Naru Osaka, hoping to find a way to revive Nephrite, is lured into the Dark Kingdom by Queen Metallia. Becoming Princess Osakaite, she begins to lose her humanity...
On the left, Princess Osakaite (Naru Osaka) wears a purple dress slightly evocative of Beryl's, with a Shitennou-like collar and chest flap. She has long black gloves, and holds her wrist uneasily, staring away into the fading light through a doorway to the left. Her teal hair ribbon is visible against a dark shadow behind her, which looms over her with an unearthly green light cast upon her. Her expression is a frown, a tight eyebrow, perhaps an uncertain determination to delve deeper for the chance to save Nephrite. On the right stands an alien figure, emerging from Naru's back. Only by looking closely do we realize that this figure IS Naru, losing her human form and becoming something else entirely. A black leg extends, bent too far, through the split in her skirt, with an extra joint like that used by predatory animals for sprinting, and spikes extend from the back of the leg. From her arm, an enormous black claw extends from the shape of what was once her human hand; spikes from the elbows and shoulders; Naru's face is distorted beyond recognition, the jaw split apart into four long sharp mandibles. The eyes have narrowed, glowing a solid turquoise in darkness. Naru's reddish hair is still visible, though it's color is subtlely contrasted in the dark green lighting; her teal ribbon has changed into something else, floating from the back of her head like some kind of tentacles. This monstrous figure stares away, deep, into the darkness, where a brilliant unearhtly green glow emeges, around the shapes of flowers-resembling those Queen Metallia grew when possessing Queen Beryl. The entire scene contrasts the open door to the fading sunlight on the left with the unearthly green glow of Queen Metallia on the right; between them is a black darkness, the monstrous figure in Naru's shadow, what she becomes. The tiled floor cracks along the darkness, giving way to a dark cavern below. God I love this piece, thank you ArundAmber!! An early sketch ArundAmber did of Naru just to confirm the design. Here we can see the shitennou-like jacket of the dress Princess Osakaite wears, as well as her shoulder freckles on the patch of bare arm between her long black glove and the shoulder of the dress. She looks uncertainly toward the viewer, with a frown. ArundAmber went all out on this piece, sketching this transformation of Naru's face. In the upper left, her head is lowered, frowning, looking sad. In the lower left, she smiles mischievously, an ordinary human face. In the upper right, her mouth begins to open (perhaps a smile, of a sort?) as her eyes clench shut and her hair and ribbon begin to flow. The lines intensify. Something about the clenched eyes suggest pain, perhaps... Finally, in the lower right, Naru's face changes completely. We see her jaw splitting open, a reddish glow as something protrudes out of her face, here eyes glowing a bright teal (The only colors in the sketch- very evocative highlighting). Her entire jaw splits into mandibles, like we see on the main final artwork. I love this one so much too, I asked specifically to include the sketches so I could share this transformation. I love this kind of body horror so much!!

Yes please!! I can't usually afford proplicas but I want them to exist. I treasure my two fanmade Kurozuishou (the Black Crystal from season 1 and the PC Engine game). These versions were made by @konmurai.bsky.social and UniqueCosplayProps on Etsy.

I want Beryl's staff though...
Two purple crystals based upon the "black crystal" (kurozuishou) from Sailor Moon season 1 and the Sailor Moon PC Engine Game. In episode 23, it was conjured by Nephrite by destroying his Celestial Globe in an astrological event; Zoisite took it from him, and used it to awaken the 7 great youma, although Naru tried to take it back from him at the graveyard. Later, Beryl gave it to Endymion to try to recapture the 7 great youma, before Sailor Mercury shattered it. However, the crystal returned in the PC Engine Game, along with the Dark Kingdom being revived by Past Wiseman, and the crystal was used for a greater purpose. Naturally, due to how tangled up it is with Nephrite and Zoisite and Naru, it's probably my favorite plot device item in Sailor Moon. That brief attempt by Naru to fight Zoisite in the graveyard- because she saw him steal it from Nephrite, and she knows he's going to use it for something bad, and, I imagine, because she wants that little piece of Nephrite back for herself- that brief scene lives rent-free in my brain forever. (But also, Zoisite is awesome and that whole arc is great.)

To clarify a little more- I think it's sort of like how she aged up Hotaru just to get at her star seed, she attacked Mamoru to somehow get ahold of the Golden Crystal, and that's why we see his golden star seed in Stars. The anime vaguely belatedly catching up to ideas, like the PC Engine game did.

They don't explain it well at all, but my theory is that Mamoru *does* have a link to the Golden Crystal in the anime (which is why Helios talks to him about Elysion near the end of SuperS), but the crystal is somehow able to split off from his star seed (like how the 7 rainbow crystals split).

I THINK the idea is that Usagi's family is there for the wedding, but, it's made awkward because nobody is dressed for a wedding except Usagi and Mamoru, so the whole scene doesn't read as a wedding, and it feels instead like they're stumbling into a Senshi group photo XD
