A gay guy, a Black man, and a woman walk into a flight deck— that’s not the beginning of a joke, but just a regular day at work! There was so much DEI on this plane that we could hardly get in the air. Luckily my limp wrists were able to wrestle the heavy jet back to the ground 💅🏼

I used a video editor to analyse the video + estimated the size of the space using google maps
Based on that, the lower bound of the number of people in the video is about 83,000 people. Plus the 4,000 already at Parliament house (according to @tzemingdynasty.bsky.social) that makes 87,000 people.

I am SO proud of my bloke, who is facing down this bastard-tough employment market with resourcefulness and determination. He’s who you want on your team - I’m so glad he’s on mine
So far today I have:
- Made my bed
- Fed and walked my dogs
- Put my clean clothes away
- Started our old VW Van to keep it running
- Emailed a recruiter to follow up on a job he's put me forward for.
Unemployment is tough, but little wins like this are to be valued and celebrated.
