For those that haven't checked it out yet, I have had a KoFi for a while, but actively started to use it. Currently I have two shorts up on there for people to read, and this weekend, I will be sharing the first Chapter of Humanity's Grave as a teaser for it. Go check it out
I feel so good with where I am at with my Humanity's Grave edits at this point; the clarity of my voice with it. The drama, the structure, I think is coming together nicely. The main slog with the edits is proofing it; I am hoping it will soon be in a state to talk to publishers and querying agents.

100% this. A trans person's real name is whatever they tell you it is at that point in time. Cause people can quite easily decide a name isnt vibin for them.
Cis folks: Shouldn't have to say this, but do not, under any circumstances, refer to a trans person's deadname as their "real name." Whether it has been legally changed or not. For fuck sake.

Though it's a hard truth, it's also very difficult to handle the fact that in a sea of "Finding a Solution to the Trans Question" articles, the rare mainstream media piece to treat us like humans is usually premised on "you should probably flee the country, and soon".

This is a critical issue in my opinion; the way the US far right politics is being imported into this country. - now I may be more on the anarchist side of politics, but, personally, I believe groups like the heritage foundation and others should be deemed terror organisations + be investigated

I've said before that Britain is afflicted by a triple-humiliation: loss of aristocracy; empire; political/media credibility. Brexit was essentially the last gasp of the British ruling class yelling to the Commonwealth, "Come on chaps, we're leaving," then marching out into the blizzard alone—nude.
I liked when they explained to boris Johnson what brexit would mean and he said oh god that is horrible you must strike a deal. They had to explain that was the deal

I see a lot of indie bookstores in the groups I’m in refuse to carry indie authors that are published through KDP because “fuck Amazon, they’re bad for authors.” And I wonder how many of them realize that Amazon actually pays comparatively better than Ingram etc. 🥲
