18 yrs ago we caught the remaining kitten from a feral brood. She settled right in with us. The last month she’s been sliding to the point where we’ve been ready to make the trip to the vet three times. And then she chows down, she gets her swagger, and it’s like nothing happened for another week.

When I worked at City Hall in the 1970s, the ships bell for HMCS Saskatoon (K158) was on display at the mayors office. When MM709 was commissioned under that name, the bell was returned to the Navy for use on that ship. As that classis paid off, it would be nice to see it returned to City Hall.

The depths of denialism in the US right now are catastrophically hilarious. A few weeks ago: “no it’s not his signature”. Today, “a 15 year old is barely legal”. They’ve all become caricatures of themselves.

I’m waiting for the announcement from the Canadian Minister of Defence that she authorized a special forces operation which extracted the President of the US to an unknown location to secure OUR homeland from the fascist threat in OUR neighborhood.

It’s fundamental to the Westminster system of government. It allows the people to influence outcomes between elections. And a warning: a house voted in by PR would kill this flexibility. In other words it’s a feature, not a bug.

Asinine. I don’t have to balance my budget until I get another pipeline? Alberta has refused to be fiscally responsible for decades. That’s why the heritage fund stands at zero. Alberta thinks it has a God given right to live without a sales tax, and that is why they never live within their means.

Completely disagreed with Andrew on a colony wrote last week. This one is very consistent with what I have been saying all along. Any deal on offer from the US right now is worse than no deal at all.
