I like all things fungi, lichen, and slime mold; and would like to learn more about them. Also bugs! Currently live in Hawaii. All photos are mine, unless otherwise stated.

The first four paintings for the challenge I’m hosting over on ig~ ✨
Which one’s your favourite so far?

A photo of four portrait-format paintings, placed on a wooden desk and surrounded by different conifer branches, hag stones, palo santo, and Icelandic moss. The paintings feature (from left to right and top to bottom): a shadowy figure under an old bridge in a conifer forest with blue light; a thin cairn in an autumn coloured wet land under a hazy sun; an enormous horned silhouette rising out of the mist in a valley with conifers and rocky outcrops; a mossy bridge spanning a tiny stream in a dense forest, dappled light in the foreground.

I think so! My Hawaii mushroom book would identify this actually as a Parmeliella Mariana, which also has Cyanobacteria as photobiont.
