I love the purity and simplicity of EG kits. They really do capture the essence of what makes Gunpla fun.

I really liked the colors on the armor pieces on this one. 😊

Here’s the body & head. Panel liner flows great on this kit, which has been nice!

The stickers? Not so nice. I put them on the chest initially, but didn’t like them at all, so I’m attempting to paint. 😬 Needs another coat or two, but it’s getting there. The wrists should be “fun”. 😅

Me around large crowds. 😅😂

I see that! 😅 When I saw what the Axis Osiris looked like standing next to the PGU RX-78-2, I was like, yeeaaah, probably won't be getting that one anytime soon (due to lack of space). Looks amazing though!

I like the proportions, which makes it look really cute, even with all of the hard angles. 😊

Wow, this is like an MG in terms of runners and pieces. Hard, darker plastics means I’m going to have to up my nub mark removal game. 😅

I buy most of my kits from Newtype these days, but HL’s 40% off sales are great, depending on the original price, and some stores have surprisingly good stock/variety.

After watching several Axis Osiris build videos, I think it’s time to see what the Kshatriya is all about.

Got this HGUC kit back in February, and hopefully its water slides will be here by the weekend. Those look like they’ll make a big difference on the final model.

Yours looks really clean! My panel lining on this one was kinda mediocre. About halfway in, I started using a Micron 003, which I actually enjoyed quite a bit, especially on areas where the panel line isn’t an actual channel and just an angular section. Much cleaner than the mess I make otherwise. 😂
mmotoda.bsky.social
Yay! Have fun. 😊
mmotoda.bsky.social
You must not have liked the GQX designs then, huh?
mmotoda.bsky.social
*fistbump* This is a big part of why I enjoy Gunpla too… the real, tangible nature of making and having something that’s physical. 😊

Here she is from a different angle with the VRR thrusters engaged and the Escutcheon’s individual bits attached, which I think really enhances this suit!

Also looks like less of a blob of white this way. 😊

Curious what you think! I have the Transformers Soundwave AE, but haven't built it yet.
mmotoda.bsky.social
Oh yeah, don't get me wrong. Aerial's design is top-notch, but some variety beyond the HG line would be nice! Hard to complain *too* much though when the HGWFM kits are so good.
mmotoda.bsky.social
You'll love it! In hindsight I should have done at least some color correction to give it a little more visual variety and depth, but it's still a really nice build OOB.
mmotoda.bsky.social
Agreed! I really hope they make an MG or RG of this. I already have 3 Aerials (with the MGSD coming at some point), so I'm kinda done with that MS... which means their next one will definitely be an Aerial. 😂

My HGWFM Gundam Calibarn is done. What a beauty! 😊

Originally, I was going to pose her with a beam saber, but Delpi went all-out on the shield’s water slides, so I wanted to make sure to get that in the shot.

Awesome kit. Might be my favorite so far that I’ve built from the anime.

We’ve really cut down on our subs. As an 80s kid, not owning anything and constantly paying increasingly expensive monthly costs just to “rent” the things I love hit its tipping point this year. I’m really enjoying being selective about my physical purchases, and it also reminds me of simpler times.
mmotoda.bsky.social
Yep, I could get it to turn on and cycle, but as soon as I so much as touched the model again to pose it, it would shut off. 🙃
mmotoda.bsky.social
Yeah, it’s more the janky mechanism to activate it that seems over-engineered to the point of being barely functional. A simple button with a small access port would have sufficed! The beam saber switch is very good though.

Whoever wrote that knows what they’re talking about. 😂

Stickers done on the Variable Rod Rifle’s rear section.

I think I need to take a nap after that. 😂
