Like all the best bits of Ted Lasso and Don Draper combined.
You are, as Molly would say, a clever bean.

This made me laugh. We call my youngest daughter Bear. I can hear her saying "I am not literally a bear".

Ah this was great. I loved watching that. You’re clearly a very clever bean.

This is interesting! Is it new? I’ve never seen it on our travels before! But then I have never been keeping an eye out for it.

To give more context. It’s very much like a French supermarket. Well organised. Large fresh vegetables bit with sections entitled “brassicas” and “squash”. A decent selection of raw meats. Better than most British supermarkets. It’s really rather nice.

Like a second rate Leclerc.

Hahah! It’s a dream. So posh. Like the fanciest sainsbury’s

Eek indeed.
September 4, 2025 at 4:24 PM
Wow.
That was obvious in hindsight. I just have staff turnover on my mind 😂

Oh really? The leclerc in Pleuven in Brittany is just a French dream. I would happily have lived in there.
September 3, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Yes! I noticed that too. We went to the most amazing leclerc in Brittany. The most amazing supermarket experience I’ve ever had I think.

French crisps are so good. I had some champignons de Paris crisps in the summer. Totally incredible.

A therapist I know and trust who had predicted I would act this way when I realised helped me through. I can’t imagine going through that with a grindset, growth mindset coach focused on making me “a better, more productive person”.

To my great shock I realised that I have perfectionist tendencies fairly recently. I learnt this during therapy. If I hadn’t had the support of a trained therapist through that process I either would have ignored it or, worse, have spiralled on it for weeks.
