like rose mcgowan in THE DOOM GENERATION but also like maggie gyllenhaal in SECRETARY. i know those are pretty different characters. i also thought of it bc i watched CENSOR recently and saw you’d rated it highly and i was like that makes sense it has That Vibe. also somehow both daria and jane

there is this whole flavor of character, like a certain specific flavor of fictional femininity, that is very lexi to me. 90s kinda retro coded outcast women with glasses in Situations? the hair is usually dark and the Situations are usually surreal and i wish i could explain it better
