I agree that i dont want my kids worrying about politics more than can be helped but this is such a weird perspective because I have always wanted my kids to know how politicians are fucking things up and never wanted them to put any politician on any sort of pedestal.

I listened to a video yesterday about how the Harry Potter franchise was basically a juggernaut of merchandising & wow, this exemplifies that. These things were the litch main villain's phylacteries that he created to commemorate murders he committed that were significant to him. Great ornaments!
