I love the Christmas Lights at Warm Beach (which, btw, is not warm or a beach), but why did I think buying tickets to go at 8:45pm tonight was a good idea? It's almost an hour away too, so we won't be home until 10:30pm or later.

Even though the Torrent were shut out, I still feel like it was a good game. Minnesota are the defending champs & a hard team to play, especially for a first year team in their 2nd ever regulation game. I saw good things happen on the ice & am excited for the next game!

It's interesting that this is under review & can be upgraded to a major. In the NHL most people wouldn't have even batted an eye at that little scuffle. We'll see what happens here.
I'm glad to see Carter shaking off that hit & not taking any shit from the player that hit her. That was worth taking the penalty.

1) hearing @alisonl.bsky.social calling it. It brings a level of comfort & familiarity to the game that I just love. And she's so smart!
2) female refs! We need more of that, I'd love to see that in the NHL!!

Another bout of scrappiness im the Torrent game, I'm liking this energy I'm seeing! I know fights in PWHL are penalized much harder so they are much more rare, so I understand gloves not dropping. But seeing these mini-scraps are fun!

FUCK. The Kraken are losing Schwartzy for roughly 6 weeks for a lower body injury sustained on Wednesday against Dallas. This is not good at all.
