Probably one of the hardest decisions I had to make during development... There were so many ideas and options to choose from!

Probably one of the hardest decisions to make during development was Daniel's Demon appearance.
What would his transformation look like? Could he transform completely, or just partially? What Demon would he even be a Hybrid of?"

"At first I considered making him the Hybrid of a wolf-like Demon... but there were already so many characters with wolf transformations or powers in popular media. I wanted to try something different.
I thought of giving him a more reptilian appearance, but I still wasn't completely convinced. Then I thought of salamanders and other lizard-like amphibians such as the axolotl...
And that's how the Araguaro was created, which also helped finalize Daniel's abilities."

To celebrate, I took inspiration from fellow manga creator @foolsence.bsky.social and prepared some fun facts to share with you all!
I'm planning on sharing one each day of the campaign, and topics range from worldbuilding to characters to BTS information!

Today's post: Hybrid Theory's Origins!

Hybrid Theory's Origins
I started developing Hybrid Theory's world and story about 8 years ago, while still in university. And it all started with... the protagonist himself, Daniel!"

"I've always found the "monster-hunting monster" character archetype very interesting, so I tried to create one of my own.
I gave him a fun-loving but reckless personality, then a strong and kind heart. To add some mystery to his story, I made him forget his past, and... ta-da!
Daniel's "prototype" was born!"
