Only thing that I guess makes sense is that most people really pay little to no attention to what is going on. They just saw prices getting higher, didn't bother to think about the world pandemic that shut down manufacturing and transportation, and voted for the "other" who promised to lower prices.

For example, TX redrew its districts based on Latinos going more for Trump in 2024. Latinos are no longer all that happy with Trump. Their new district maps could bite them in the a$$.
