Narita's side of the story is just a little bit *too* aggressively twee for my tastes, but I think Admire Vega's darker story balances it out well enough. Still prefer the movie & CG, though

Honestly, that's one of the coolest ways to handle a Gundam and justify why only so many of them exist (re: it's basically superpowered suicide)

Anyway, I've heard this is one of the most polarizing things the series ever released. But it's also by Mari Okada and I ended up adoring something like ZZ, so I'm cautiously optimistic about this one

This is fun for like a day before it gets old because the gacha in this game is just that obnoxious. So many ads and pop-ups along with a very expensive shop and so many different things in it to drop at least $10 on. It's really fucking predatory.

This is easily the strangest Gundam I've seen & to its benefit! The aesthetic (excluding the faces) is incredible, I like the emphasis on building political tensions in the first half, & the cast is very strong. The shit this does with the Gundam metanarrative is so fucking sick
